Odd combination of shutter speed and ISO/'grain' - was that the effect you 
were going for?

John- who uses his CCD Monochrom at 5000ISO most of the time

We're near Palm Springs with our youngest so she can be near family during
the holidays. Yesterday we went to trek in the Tahquitz reservation, which
we could not enter as they closed earlier for Christmas Eve. So we walked
on some old roads around there area. It was unique to find clouds over the
Bad Lands:

This was handheld as I didn't bring a tripod (this being a family trip, not
a photo trip). The M as usual performed beautifully.
