It is a Spanish tradition that the quarters of a city with a historical charachter they celebrate their own ?Village Festival?, Barcelona like other big cities has absorbed many villages like it was Gracia, Sants, Sarri? ? and many others. La Barceloneta was not a separate village but it was a quarter for the fishermen and later for a big industry, la Barceloneta was a typical workers quarter and fortunately it still keep quite well his chacrachter. I?ve shoot these pictures wit Leica MP and Leica M6, with Elmarit 21mm, Summicron 35mm, Summilux 50 V2, Summilux 75, using Tri X 400 for the night pictures rated at ISO400 and Kodak Plus X for the daylight. The square pictures was shoot with the Rolleiflex and Kodak Tri X Professional ASA 320, on these day the developing was made by an excellent Pro Lab that unfortunately it don?t exist any more.
