We had socialist mayors and council members for 40 years. They were known as "sewer socialists" for the emphasis on infrastructure for the public good. Their administrations ended corruption, backed public health and recreation initiatives, expanded affordable housing and parks, created budget surpluses, and was labeled "The best governed city in America" by (I believe) TIME magazine. -- Alan Alan Magayne-Roshak, Senior Photographer University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Photo Services (Retired) UPAA Photographer of the Year 1978 UPAA Master of the Profession 2014 amr3 at uwm.edu http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/ "All the technique in the world doesn't compensate for an inability to notice.
