We will start with a walk on the San Gabriel river just north of Austin in the city of Georgetown. I believe due to the early Spanish influence the waterways in Texas are largely undeveloped and have remained parkland. We took a stroll and I noticed the light on this tree: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/leaves+backlight+sun.jpg.html Back in Austin near the St. Edwards University campus there is a grove of live oaks that frequently attracts people with its welcoming shade: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/shade+in+July.jpg.html Last in Pflugerville (Germans might have been a large settlement group in Texas's early history) we stopped at this suburban grove of oaks: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/forest+glade+with+deer.jpg.html If you look closely you can see two sets of twin fauns lurking in the shade.
