Let's explore the 2500 year-old Greek theater at Segesta, Sicily. One of its claims to fame is that during Roman times, Cicero made an oration from this very stage. If I have the story straight, it happened during his fact-finding expedition to Sicily, whose corrupt governor he later prosecuted in Rome. First, here's the ancient Greek temple you saw close-up in previous photos, now seen from a distance, from the top of the hill where the theater is located: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/33457317408/in/dateposted-public/> A view from the ruins of the theater scenery building, with an S-curved highway leading towards the sea: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/32391200797/in/dateposted-public/> Katya shows us that some of the theater seats still have their seat backs intact, a rarity: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/33457317138/in/dateposted-public/> A young Swiss woman from our tour group descends the theater towards the stage: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/32391200547/in/dateposted-public/> The stage view from audience rear center: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/33457316978/in/dateposted-public/> Exit, stage left (apologies to "Snagglepuss"): <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/32391200037/in/dateposted-public/> Me, being dramatic: <https://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563 at N04/33457316888/in/dateposted-public/> Olympus E-M5 and 45/1.8 or Panasonic 20/1.7.
