Frigate Birds are the pirates of the skies, adept at stealing food from other birds on the wing either directly, or by harassing them till they regurgitate food that they are bringing back to the next. The only Frigate Bird breeding grounds that we saw was on North Seymour Island, though they are in the skies pretty much anywhere. The two sub species that breed here are the Magnificent Frigatebird and the Great Frigatebird, and are quite tough to tell apart. I have attempted to do so, but could be comprehensively wrong in the identification. So, bear with me on that one!
