10.14 is the last OS to support 32-bit apps, 10.15 onwards will be 64-bit 
only.....

Thanks, that is helpful. Basically, 32-bit apps will not work or at least 
not particularly well. So no upgrade for me. I have Epson Scan, MS Office, 
Freeway Express and several other apps that are still 32-bit and while some 
can be upgraded, others cannot and anyway, I do not want to bother.
