Borneo is a birders paradise, but the difficulties of getting good photographs remain - they are in the canopy, and only luck can catch them in the open. We were lucky, though, we caught the rarest stork in the world, Storm's Stork, only 500 estimated to be left in the wild, out on a dead tree, by the river: Storm's Stork: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Sabah/wildlife/Malaysia-20180412-2573.jpg.html Grey-faced Buzzard: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Sabah/wildlife/Malaysia-20180414-3763.jpg.html Stork-billed Kingfisher: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Sabah/wildlife/Malaysia-20180412-2280.jpg.html A trio of shots of a Black-naped Tern on an ultimately successful fishing expedition! http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Sabah/wildlife/Malaysia-20180412-2231.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Sabah/wildlife/Malaysia-20180412-2237.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Sabah/wildlife/Malaysia-20180412-2257.jpg.html Please see LARGE Comments and criticism, as ever, welcome.
