They wanted to practice entering the building to rescue people in the event of a fire. It turned out to be a very worthwhile exercise, since they had some difficulty actually getting in?better to figure out how to do it during a simulation than if it had been an actual emergency! An additional benefit of the drill was that it provided me with some photo opportunities from our cafeteria terrace.
