When I landed, the weather was just horrible, as it often is here at this time of year. I tried to make the best of it, photographically, while walking to a meeting at the European Commission in late afternoon. The Schuman roundabout, the heart of the EU quarter: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-SqnWTL7/A An abstract: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-brNTKnM/A These two images are examples of making a silk scarf of sow?s ear. The last one is an example of the importance of having a camera around at all times. After the meeting at the Commission I stopped by Kitty O?Shea?s, my favourite watering hole in the EU quarter. On the way out, I photographed this delightful couple: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-gjFSrTJ/A It made my day.
