It's an excellent piece, and perfectly sums up the riotous lifestyle and relentless party grind we have to endure for the honour of being Irish. Pity the photo of her isn't a bit sharper and, with a full glass to her lips, she's almost adopting an Irish burqua :-) To clarify for those who wouldn't be familiar with scribblings from Ireland, "The Gloss" is a glossy monthly that comes out with the best Irish daily newspaper The Irish Times. Of course, I would say that as I get that particular paper delivered every day, but only got around to reading the mag today. She must be delighted to get her toe in the door. Hopefully, she'll get more opportunities there in the fullness of time. Equally, she should try and get some colour pieces on Ireland from an American slant into US publications while she's at it. After all, there are loads of stories, especially as we're all transfixed by the border implications of Brexit over here. Most Irish people are finding it hard to credit the stupidity of the Brits in sowing the wind and probably reaping the whirlwind, as the potential re-emergence of a hard border between the Republic and Northern Ireland will prompt hard headed men in the North contemplate their internal greenness, and dig up forgotten guns. Maybe the potential catastrophe won't happen, but paper never refused ink, and the pay is good....
