For many years, I've been using Paul Roarke's "Black Only" (BO) printing
on an Epson 1800 printer with MIS Eboni ink in three of the print heads
and Quadtone RIP software.? Because of some home renovations, the
printer was in storage for several months. I'm now setting the printer
back up and de-clogging the heads.? This is probably a good time to ask
how viable this way of printing is in the long term.

So, what do you folks do for black and white printing?? I long ago found
that for color prints, Costco does a great job with my full-resolution
sRGB JPG files as long as I specified "Do not correct."? I've never
tried them for B&W.? I don't print enough to justify a high-capacity
printer like the Epson 3000 or its newer relatives. I don't use Adobe
software, so Photoshop-specific procedures won't help me.? I use Capture
One and Picture Window Pro.? Presently, I don't sell my prints, I just
look at them and put a few up on my wall.

All advice happily considered.? Thanks!
