They appear to be a bit behind. The expected dates mentioned then were: *APO-Summicron-SL 75mm* in* Summer 2017*. *APO-Summicron-SL 90mm* and the *Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16-35mm* are scheduled for *Autumn and Winter 2017* respectively, *Summicron-SL 35mm* in Spring 2018. >From the comparison photos of the prototypes together and their smaller 67mm filter diameter they do look like they will be significantly smaller. There was an interview with Peter Karbe published here. As far as I know you can see that without being a member of that forum??? < http://www.reddotforum.com/content/2016/09/setting-a-new-standard-with-leica-sl-lenses-a-discussion-with-peter-karbe-at-photokina-2016/ > Frank these appear to be completely new designs and if they can achieve in production what Peter Karbe has stated they will be very impressive indeed. Per LeicaRumours... Leica APO-Summicron-SL 75mm f/2 ASPH: coming in 2017 Leica APO-Summicron-SL 90mm f/2 ASPH: Spring 2018 Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16-35mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH: Spring 2018 Leica Summicron-SL 35mm f/2 ASPH: Spring 2018 Plus 5 more in 2018 Looks like the M Optics that have been reworked incorporate AF and new barrels. I would think the Short Zoom would be very interesting... and matches the Sony - Zeiss lens .. which is a wonderful focal length for a travel optic..
