We went to Sumpter, Oregon, avoided all the crowds, had perfect weather and enjoyed my second eclipse of the sun, though it was too short. OK. Might as well just get the big three out of the way. No teasers. View large, please..... Here is the diamond ring effect just before totality. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/E/Sumpter+Eclipes+Diamond+Ring-4933.jpg.html totality with the filter still on so you can see the prominences from the sun?s surface. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/E/Sumpter+Eclipes+Totality-4934.jpg.html Filter off so the corona shows up. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/E/Sumpter+Eclipes+Totality-4937.jpg.html More to come, but they will be less interesting as far as an eclipse, but maybe some good people shots. I confess I have not read my digests from when I was gone, so hope these stand up to everyone else who shot and posted.
