Challenged by Alan's image, I spent some time trying to get more detail
in the "bomber" image.  So far as I can make out, the wing span is about
fifty per cent larger than the Skipper's eye, which I would estimate to
be about 3/32 of an inch.  Hence, the small insect has a span slightly
larger than 1/8 inch.  No wonder I failed to notice him.
