Mostly, I stayed in the former East Berlin, by far the more interesting part. An image from outside my hotel, the Marienkirche and the TV tower on Alexanderplatz: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-KWCnCzN/A The tower was built in the 1960s and was the pride and joy of the then DDR. Today it is one of united Berlin?s main tourist attractions. Street art, in a space called Urban Spree, near the Warschauer Strasse metro station: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-sWqN5Nx/A I had a beer in this bar in Urban Spree: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-vJWP9kr/A After looking at this mural at the bar, I asked the owner if he was Norwegian (in German). He was indeed. Althought I also heard him speaking Spanish to some customers. That is typical Berlin these days. http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-P3R6f77/A Warschauer Strasse. Berlin is increasingly becoming a bicycle city like Amsterdam or Copenhagen: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/i-4pcRndq/A Cheers, Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu <http://www.frozenlight.eu/> http:// <http://www.greatpix.eu/>www.greatpix.eu PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws <http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws>Blog: http://nathansmusings.wordpress.com/ <http://nathansmusings.wordpress.com/> Cycling: http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/belgiangator <http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/belgiangator> YNWA
