These were all taken on my workbench in the basement that has a twin-tube fluorescent light over it. You can see it reflected in the bottles. All but the first used this as the main light, plus two matte finish ferrotyping plates as reflectors to brighten the front of the products. The backdrop was a piece of 8-1/2" x 11" typing paper. The spot-remover brush shot was lit with an old $2.00 plastic flashlight that I held over the spines, bracing my hand on a shoe box. This flashlight has a focusing reflector that I spotted to concentrate the light. -- Alan Alan Magayne-Roshak, Senior Photographer University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Photo Services (Retired) UPAA Photographer of the Year 1978 UPAA Master of the Profession 2014 amr3 at uwm.edu http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/ "All the technique in the world doesn't compensate for an inability to notice.
