Like all North Indian hill stations, there is a main thoroughfare that cuts through the centre of the town, invariably known as The Mall. The Mall in Mussoorie is undulating and narrow, so commercial vehicles are banned from using it through the day and evening, and private vehicles are severely restricted by means of a toll. That leaves rickshaws and walking as the only options, which is nice for street photography! Here are some photographs of the visit, all taken during leisurely walks along The Mall: Selfie: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170418-1024.jpg.html Detachment: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170419-1062.jpg.html Lion: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-211.jpg.html Rickshaws: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-165.jpg.html Buddhist Monks: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-170.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-169.jpg.html Street Scene (complete with cow): http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-229.jpg.html Kid: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-186.jpg.html Strollers (for hire): http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-176.jpg.html Cobbler: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-179.jpg.html Selfie 2: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170417-160.jpg.html Ear Gun!: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/India/mussoorie/Mussoorie-20170419-1059.jpg.html Please see LARGE Comments and criticism, as ever, welcome.
