It had to be some other Nikon model... which does not change my impression or opinion. The S2 was ( is) a fine handling camera.... from my memory..... If I were serious about taking on a different MF Digi-camera, I would look at it again. The optics would probably blow away most of the competition, but the details of use (ergonomic issues of balance of the mounted lenses also) would be what I would check... But I am not. It's not that I dislike my present Hassy 500 /Leaf system, but I own it already.... And I do like using it on a tripod...... I still regret selling my Rolleiflex E series / Xenotar lens. Finest handling, superb optics, quiet as a mouse. Now if someone would invent a digi back for it........ Nah, the back would stick way out, and mess with the native handling .... I have probably used most medium format cameras, the only reflex ones I liked were Hasselblad (owned for many years) and RB/RZ in the studio, liked Pentax 67 results but not the camera.... john
