Liveview seems like a useful function. Testing focus accuracy, maybe dark places, maybe awkward position of the camera compared to the eye.... I have had 4 cameras that do video. Have no idea if it works or not on any of them. For others, it is a must have...... To each his own..... The Real Leica Macho Man ( Woman), would never use it...... It is not traditional, it is not film, it is not B+W, it is not ..Henri Cartier-Bresson macho. I'll bet that many of us on this list, photographers all, have never shot a video with our digital camera, -----Original Message----- So is this simply a specification issue or is it a real problem? I see the M10 as being what a digital Leica should be. Every ?modern? digital I have shoots video. The number of times I have used that capability? Less than 1% of the time I spend taking photos and literally no one has ever seen the video results. Hard to hang video on the wall (although the new LG TV might make me eat those words). Adam Bridge
