I don't know of others on this list or anywhere who push for Leica slow glass like I do but the new administration at Leica seems to be on my wavelength lucky for me. Taking advantage of the ways of the rangefinder system (and not so much EVF's electronic viewfinders who may are may not be crazy about this f stop Leica has come out with a classic like they used to have which does not relay on speed to enable us to see an image crisp on a groundglass as there isn't one. They used to have three versions of very optic in the catalog. A slow, medium and fast. The slow being cheaper and smaller and lighter but not the slightest hurting in optical performance sometimes even better in that regard. The fast being heavy, big and expensive. With optical perforce sometimes better sometimes worse. And the middle for people who can't make up their mind. This would be a lens which would be on my camera and seldom come off. My go to lens for being out all day with my camera. Small compact pancakelike and collapsible this is my kind of lens. And the 28 is the new 50. Priced to sell at $2412.80983 USD translated from the Euro. I'd take two they're small. One for color one for B&W.! -- Mark William Rabiner Photographer http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/
