We would get up in the morning with a symphonic cacophony orchestrated by Hyacinth Macaws and Caracaras! The Hyacinth Macaws were very agile, and always raucously squabbling, which made for interesting photography: Hyacinth Macaw: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Brazil/Pantanal/untitled-20160814-5603.jpg.html Couple: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Brazil/Pantanal/untitled-20160814-5788.jpg.html Scrap: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Brazil/Pantanal/untitled-20160819-14317.jpg.html Spat: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Brazil/Pantanal/untitled-20160819-14317.jpg.html Squabble: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Brazil/Pantanal/untitled-20160819-14153.jpg.html the Hotel Porto Jofre was on the banks of the Cuiaba River, the prime spot for jaguar watching. One of the streams leading off the river was teeming with caiman, so we promptly dubbed it "Caiman Alley". A couple of shots from there: Sunset Caiman: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Brazil/Pantanal/Pantanal-20160817-10441.jpg.html To Catch A Fish: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Brazil/Pantanal/Pantanal-20160818-13081.jpg.html Please see LARGE Comments and criticism, as ever, welcome.
