The FACT that everyone has a camera at the "decisive moment? that they want or need a photograph certainly has had a major effect on the art and craft of photography as well as cinematography. YET? even with this iPhone tool WE CAN do it BETTER And if we can?t well then that?s on us. Some of us had a good run. You MOST CERTAINLY did and have been duly honored for your immense contribution to the field and history. At this point can?t much moan about The water that?s passed under bridge or asking why they Closed the Barn Doors after the Cows Have Left This is where we find ourselves; with a device that can Create, Edit and Distribute HD Video and/or Very High Quality Still photographs and/or Broadcast Quality Audio interviews And you can hold it in the palm of your hand Add pro-quality microphones affordable video dollies and steady cams and the list is endless. If a young creative individual cannot figure out how to earn their keep in this day and age; with current and evolving technology; well then THEY have DO have a problem. Though it won?t be for lack of access to creative tools. It will be, as you suggested Ted, lack of the drive and creative juice.
