The Leica Macro-Elmarit-R 60mm lens is from the Leica-R series of SLR cameras circa 1980, a system that Leica abandoned. The Olympus E-1 camera was Oly's first professional digital body, incorporating a Kodak CCD sensor which gives beautiful color rendering, though limited to 5MP. It was released around 2004. The lens and camera, with the use of a simple adapter, fit together very nicely. Though heavy, the combination delivers beautiful images. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Macro+System.tif.html Comments and critiques welcomed and appreciated. -- Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA
