I am pretty sure it always did that, at least on the PC platform. I forget this because it seems to be a fairly new option, or I have inadvertently a changed setting. I've looked through Preferences, but can't find a setting to ensure that when I connect my M9 or its card, the photos will be actually imported to my Mac and not lie on the card where they might get accidentally formatted over or deleted. I'd like to set it up so the photos go to a folder called 'Leica' on my Mac desktop. Very grateful for any help, Peter -- Peter Cheyne, MPhil, PhD Associate Professor, Shimane University Visiting Fellow 2016?2019, Durham University, Philosophy Dept Office: +81-852-32-6211 Int. phone: 3325 Faculty of Law and Letters, Shimane University 1060 Nishikawatsu-cho, Matsue City, Shimane, 690?8504, Japan. www.petercheyne.com
