When well thought out and considering all the elements of the ?book? as well as it?s intended audience it can certainly be made aesthetically pleasing. I?ve also seen plenty of ?elegantly produced? stuff that comes off simply pretentious because the concept and the photographs (or art) have not earned that "coffee table book elegance."
