I missread the title of the first one as Polar Bear Club and was expecting to see a bunch of people jumping into an ice hole. Caught me off guard. I guess I am still getting use to my new glasses. I have secured the Second Prize for a photograph of a Polar Bear Cub as well as a Highly Honored citation for a photograph of a Juvenile Male Elephant Seal, the only photographer to win two awards this year. Incidentally, both the photographs were on view during the "Diverse Visions" exhibition that a group of us had put on in September 2015. These competitions are truly international - the top seven prizes have been won by photographers from seven different countries, and a total of ten countries are represented in the Honors list of 15 photographs.
