The Spruce was well trimmed up to the ten foot level. So it didn?t interrupt the view to the south. And the wood is too sappy for the indoor fireplace. Too much creosote build up. Not enough BTUs. Could be used for outdoor fires in a couple few years. Brian, from http://www.cowboycutstreeservice.com , gives it to a neighbor; who has an outdoor wood burning furnace for his house.
