It's a bit like, or at least hanging an exhibition, you made your decisions - which we allowed you to do - and that should be it. In any exhibition you may not like the juxtaposition of images, but that doesn't detract from the value of the exhibition as a whole. If it worries you that much, you could perhaps offer the choice not to change the pairing submitted by the photographer. Keep at it!
