Subject: [Leica] Leica lenses and the Leica Compendium

I thought I recalled seeing that an iBook version of the Leica Compendium
has now been offered for sale. I just checked and you can buy it through
Erwin's website for 30 Euro. The hard cover version is a substantial
volume too heavy to read in bed ;-)

His earlier Leica Lens Compendium was made available as a free (text only
version) PDF to download. You can still find that here.

That page owner is David Young . I don't know if he is still active in the
LUG, sorry.

SNIP....... A while ago Erwin's writings dominated the
Leica website. His "Leica Compendium" is now considered a classic and its
mainly about this topic I see you get one for only $349.99 on Amazon. When
I first joined the LUG he was a major player in our discussions for many
years. Here's his main R page.

And you don't have to give him any damn money.
To read a lens review by Erwin Puts and not be impressed would be quite a
thing............. SNIP
