I just checked and you can buy it through Erwin's website for 30 Euro. The hard cover version is a substantial volume too heavy to read in bed ;-) His earlier Leica Lens Compendium was made available as a free (text only version) PDF to download. You can still find that here. http://www.furnfeather.net/books/LLC_pdf.html That page owner is David Young . I don't know if he is still active in the LUG, sorry. ........................................ Subject: Re: [Leica] Which R lenses are good? Mediocre? Bad? SNIP....... A while ago Erwin's writings dominated the Leica website. His "Leica Compendium" is now considered a classic and its mainly about this topic I see you get one for only $349.99 on Amazon. When I first joined the LUG he was a major player in our discussions for many years. Here's his main R page. http://www.imx.nl/photo/leica/lenses/lenses/page88.html And you don't have to give him any damn money. To read a lens review by Erwin Puts and not be impressed would be quite a thing............. SNIP .............................................. Cheers Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman
