Almost certainly it does, Tina. The phone has GPS built in, the tagging
comes with the Camera app. With the latest release of iOS software the GPS
will function even in airplane mode (all transmitters, etc turned off).
Possibly you should consider an upgrade to the 6S simply for the quality of
the camera and the speed. The difference between the two devices is
astonishing and the builtin camera is very nice.
A killer app would connect whatever camera to your phone (Apple or Android
or Windows) and allow it to get a GPS fix with no operator intervention. I
thought that Fuji had done just that but, alas, they didn?t. Still, I?m
hopeful we might get something like this in the future.
