Subject: [Leica] APO Telyt-R 280/2.8 compatible with M-9

Asking on behalf of a friend. Can the Telyt-R 280/2.8 be safely (and 
usefully) used on an M-9? I remember there is no Liveview which would 
indicate the lens is of limited use on an M9 (shoot blind, then check the 
shot?)
