If... you're shooting relatively static subjects such that the slowish refresh of the Live View and any time it takes to pop in and out of magnified mode for critical focus aren't a problem. So maybe not ideal for actual live birds or people. But for stuff which doesn't move around fast, I'm actually really impressed with the image quality.
