Doesn't bother me, never married but in same relationship for longer than most marriages ;-) john -----Original Message----- Gene, You?re still trying to argue based on emotion, not fact. You still have not told me any good reason why I should invite the State into my personal relationships. That?s what marriage is. Giving the state control over something private and personal. Contrary to popular belief, the USA does NOT have religious marriage. All marriages here are civil marriages, even if you marry in a church. This is because the marriage is not legally valid unless the state first issues you a license to marry, and if you do decide to divorce, the state, not God or his ministers in your church/synagogue/mosque/etc, must approve it. That approval is costly, and serves no purpose but to enrich lawyers and a corrupt legal system. I?m not saying you cannot have a lifelong relationship if you have the good fortune to find a good woman and you have the moral fiber to keep yourself faithful as well. I?m happy for you, and Tina, and Ted, and all the other older people here who have that. You still have not shown me any reason why the state needed to be involved in your relationship. -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Become a fan on Facebook On 7/3/15, 12:45 PM, "lug-bounces+chris=chriscrawfordphoto.com at leica-users.org on behalf of grduprey at mchsi.com" <lug-bounces+chris=chriscrawfordphoto.com at leica-users.org on behalf of grduprey at mchsi.com> wrote: >Chris, > >Well my wife does share in it.
