We deliberately stayed away from all the ?standard? places like Alexanderplatz, the Holocaust memorial, the Sony Centre on Potsdammer Platz, the Bundestag etc. Instead, we visited places I had not seen before. It was a great couple of days. Here are four images from Friday: A staircase in an apartment building in Kreuzberg: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/4253606_kdsZ6C#!i=4167712004&k=fqzXmXL&lb=1&s=O A makeshift memorial to the refugees who drown in the Mediterranean while trying to cross from North Africa to Europe: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/4253606_kdsZ6C#!i=4167693283&k=Gb7zjdz&lb=1&s=O Frankfurter Tor at the top of Karl-Marx-All?: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/4253606_kdsZ6C#!i=4167693244&k=8tZMq3D&lb=1&s=O The Stasi headquarters: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/4253606_kdsZ6C#!i=4167694822&k=gdTDnmC&lb=1&s=O Much more to come?
