Hi Luggers,
While walking from the tram stop to the White Stag Pub on Sunday for the
Trivia Contest I came across this beautifully restored 1962 E Type Series One
Jaguar. I talked to the owner who is the Vice Chairman of the Classic Car
Club of Hong Kong and he is in the process of restoring a second E Type -
shipping the car to England to have the work done. He told me there are
three other E type Jags of similar colour if not the same year still on the
road in Hong Kong.

A second view:

And the view from the rear:

Walking around the car made me quite nostalgic. I owned a 1972 E Type V 12
when I lived in LA. It was not really suited to hot LA weather and slow
traffic and I finally sold it in Vancouver to a Chinese Architect. I still
see it sometimes on the streets near where I live when I am in Vancouver.

Please look large - C&C always welcome.

Howard
