[Leica] Does anybody know anything about lenses? Yes! That would be me!

So ? my 50mm Canon Serenar f1.8 wouldn?t focus to infinity, it hit a hard 
stop about 4mm away. Advice on the LUG was divided 50/50 between ?buy a real 
lens you dope? and ?send it to sherry? ? I opted for solution c) and bought 
a spanner wrench and opened the lens like a coconut and found this:

a small screw had come loose sometime in the past 50 years got had fallen 
inside the track that the focus ring moves through. I popped it out with a 
toothpick and replaced it where it had fallen from and it works fine now. 
whole operation (minus waiting for the spanner wrench to arrive) was about 
five minutes.

And now for my next trick, adding haze to a 35mm f 3.5.
