All this time I thought bokeh was a mythical Leica invention used to convince unbelievers that Leica lenses were the best that could be possibly made. As in: "Zeiss, Canon, Nikon and even Olympus lenses are just as good." "No you stupid ass. Leica lenses have the best bokeh. All the others have inferior bokeh."
