I certainly appreciate your photographic documentation of the events; including your descriptions of your friends and other re enactors' serious interests; and am fascinated by each and every subculture and their passionate pursuits (freely paraphrasing a bit of Jim Shulman). I in no way question your presentation or their serious desire to present their reenactments. I simply seek a deeper understanding of their motivations as part of the documentary process? My interests in this subject are in no way critical of either your documentation or their presentation. I didn't really get any particular sense of "terrible" from your photographic documents.
