As I was setting up the Nikon D800E with the 300 f4.0 AFS and 1.7 extender I thought that the Anna Mama was back on the nest: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hummers2014/6315c.jpg.html> Then the bird on the nest stirred and I could see there were two birds there. In the 12 days I was away the babies had grown a lot: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hummers2014/6363c.jpg.html> Busy Mama showed up to feed the babes: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hummers2014/6378c.jpg.html> And started with the aggressive one: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Hummers2014/6391c.jpg.html> I watched for an hour - and have several more pictures to share in my next posting. Please look large. C&C always welcome. Howard.
