But a few years ago the tree tried to kill my house and only narrowly missed. So the tree had to go. I haven't had time to put up another until now. This one's only up about 25 feet. I've had quick digital mode contacts with Uraguay, Argentina, Japan and Asiatic Russia, so I guess it works reasonably well. Hopefully I will not attract the attention of either regulatory agency mentioned previously. No snow here, but it's very cold for Seattle--high of 32 today, lows down to 17 in the suburbs tonight.
