Jay,

I have been following this series with a great deal of interest as I know the
area well.

The M gives an interesting combination of light and detail. Are these the
basic
images, or have you PS'd them or something? I thought that earlier ones from
other sites that you visited were less grey, stronger blacks: greater
density if
you like.

Regards,

Peter

[For those who don't know the area, the Castle is pre-Norman in origin (it
goes
back to the late ninth Century) and was only destroyed after treachery in the
mid-seventeenth. The damage was caused by blasting the walls with gunpowder
to
undermine them.]
