Apparently the A7r (36MP) has offset micro lenses and may be more attuned to
WA lenses than the A7

I have now forgotten.... are the WATE, 21 and 24 Super Elmar lenses designed
with retrofocus techniques? Ie, are they less demanding on the digital
sensors?

Ditto lenses like the 28 Summicron ?

what will be interesting is how the new a7 a7r handle leica wides. sony has
a great implementation of focus peaking, and size wise pretty close to leica
m's. this could be the next leica m lens market
