Richard, they are very different beasts, and I'm not really on a computer which will allow me close assessment of the Mono V 240 in b/w, but gut feeling is that the Mono 'sees' into the shadows better and the images look slightly 'sharper' if that's possible. I was initially going to bring the 240 and the M9 to Spain, but the Mono won out when Geoff insisted it be there for the big Leica gathering in Barcelona. Cheers Alastair
