I observe that behavior on the part of a number of FB users. Lack of common sense IMHO. I've only had one episode on my own FB page in nearly a decade of use. I simply "blocked" that person. And that was the end of that. The value that I enjoy on a daily basis far outweighs the little bit of stupid that shows up within my personal networks. Examples: A number of people on the LUG also show up on FB. Some of their postings are redundant though more often I get to experienced another nuanced side of them that would not come up on the LUG. In other words I get to "know them" just a little better. A couple FB friends actually edit and proof things which keeps me on my toes - and better informs me. I get to meet some of my daughter's friends; and see her interact with them in ways she'd not interact with me. And vice versa. I like (some) people. I like "knowing" the people I like.
