Factors might be: - is there an inline diode, preventing the battery from charging if the external p/s is connected? - is there a separate connector to charge the battery vs connect the external p/s? I can't remember, do yo remove the DMR battery and install it into a charger, or do you connect a power cord and charge the battery? - does the DMR need an over-voltage to charge, and would the external power supply have sufficient voltage? - is there a "car charger" plug for the DMR? If there is, that might be the appropriate place to jack-in a charger. I don't know what the car cigarette lighter voltage is but I bet it is 12 volts DC. regards Vick On 04/09/2013 10:56 AM, Leo Wesson wrote: > Does the battery charge if you have the external power supply connected? > > Leo Wesson > Photographer/Videographer > 817.733.9157 > www.leowesson.com > >
