As we're thinking about and discussing photographic assignments
it may serve us well to research two dimensional rendering
of concepts like "motion" and "colour"

The subject of "motion" in "graphic art" is rather long and deep.
The subject of "motion" through time and space
has been expressed in two dimensional, three dimensional and four 
dimensional arts.

All the rules have been broken.
And hopefully we'll continue to see fresh expressions on all the subjects.
