Hi Steve,
The new firmware does produce faster focusing with the 60 f2.4. I haven't 
got my head around the focus peaking concept yet but it certainly has 
potential.
And yes, photographing Miss O is a greater challenge than either eagles or 
hummers, :-)

sounds like she is more of a challenge than the eagles, how do you find the 
new firmware?
