Then take my 4 pain pills and go lie down one more time after this, "Incrediblle piece of "CRAP BY REUTERS or whomever HELPING TO SELL CANON CAMERAS!!!!!!" Basically all they are saying is, "buy one of these cameras with a lens! And you too will be shooting top of the line winning photographs!" CRAP! It still comes down to the human being holding the gear and "THEIR ABLTY TO SEE!!!!!!" And re-act to the fleeting moment before them! The gear?? Well OK it can make a difference in how the Photographer holding and setting the camera's machine gun operation making it work to the holders possible advantage inregard to their ability! Oh well back to the quiet of pills! cheers, lads & lasses! :-) Some other day I manage to sneak silently to the computer?????????? ;-) > On Jul 22, 2013, at 3:33 AM, John McMaster <john at mcmaster.co.nz> wrote: > >> Interesting breakdown of 2012 Reuters 2012 photos of the year: >> >> Canon beat Nikon by a large number >> Given most are likely to be zooms then wide open (f2.8) is most common >> Camera base ASA is most common >> >> >> "A single photograph captured using the most popular equipment and >> settings (for Reuters? top 95 photos of 2012) would be shot using a Canon >> 1D Mark IV with a 16-35mm lens attached, set at 1/320s, f/2.8, and ISO >> 200." >> >> >> http://petapixel.com/2012/12/02/the-most-popular-cameras-and-settings-for-reuters-best-photos-of-the-year-2012/#more-91454
