What am I to do? Of course, I have to keep taking pictures of them. :-) Here are three more all taken with the D800E and the 300 f4.0 + 2X extender. Each cropped to about 1/4 in CS6. Mostly ISO 6400 f11 and 1/2000. In the this first one I have tried for a slightly different view - with the bird's wings embracing the petunia. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/PenderBirds/RufousHorizPetunW.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/obdkokx This is a more traditional side view <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/PenderBirds/RufousRtWgBkPetunW.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/kynjw98 And here is the wing embracing flower view again. This time it is a pinks - so my wife tells me. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/PenderBirds/RufousWgForPinksW.jpg.html> http://tinyurl.com/ltntmc8 Please look large - C&C always welcome.
